Lip Filler are an East London-based indie rock band with dance-punk influences. They’re comprised of members George Tucker (vocals, keys), Verity Hughes (vocals, guitar), Jude Scholefield (vocals, guitar), Theo Pasmore (bass), and Nate Wicks (drums). They’ve cited Nine Inch Nails, 100 gecs, and Pixies as influences - proving their sound can range from raw punk energy to a layered wall of sound reminiscent of up-tempo, danceable shoe gaze. Rolling Stone UK described their 2024 EP, witchescrew, as “sonically ambitious,” and their track ‘Limelight’ was praised in The Indie Scene stating, “the track taps into that early noughties indie scene, bound to ignite the dancefloor addict in all of us.”
The band have already made waves in media with support from BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, Radio X, NME and CLASH Magazine. Their high-energy live shows are where the band especially make an impact on listeners, promoting a sense of communal fun and let-loose mentality. Lip Filler have performed at multiple venues across the UK as well as festivals including The Great Escape, Y Not Festival, Left of the Dial (Rotterdam), and Block Party (Paris).
